Dear <PCNAME>,<BR><BR>I've come to your land to seek help for my kind in the Wintera Snowfield.<BR><BR>Please come to {@linkcreature:63#9004#me} so I can plead my case in person. But hurry! Winter doesn't last forever.<BR><BR>—Wintera Messenger <PCNAME>, you came! I was worried...but that doesn't matter. Have a moment for a story?<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"I'm listening."</NEXTPAGEBUTTON> Our homeland, the Wintera Snowfield, is divided into red, blue, and yellow areas. It's all governed by the wisest of us, Old Man Winter.<BR><BR>Or it was until a trickster disguised as Old Man Winter appeared, and now we can't tell which one's real!<BR><BR>The red and blue camps each believe that their Old Man Winter is the real one. (Among our people, yellow is the color of neutrality. We yellows don't fight.)<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"Where do I come in?"</NEXTPAGEBUTTON> We yellow ones are tired of being in the middle of this madness.<BR><BR>We couldn't convince the reds and blues to stop fighting, but at least we convinced them to make it a snowball fight. A nice, mostly nonlethal snowball fight. Our plan—and I admit it's kind of sketchy—is that the real Old Man Winter would certainly prevail in a snowball fight. They don't call him "Winter" for nothing!<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"Still not seeing the 'me' angle."</NEXTPAGEBUTTON> Open the Battleground Matching UI and select the "Winter Event" battleground. That sends you to the Wintera Snowfield.<BR><BR>Throw some snowballs, win a battle, then come back and tell me whether red or blue was victorious.<BR><BR>Remember, it's a snowball fight, not a real fight. Only certain skills work on the snowfield. <font color='FF0000'>Snowballs</font> inflict low damage but can be thrown quickly because the cooldown time is short. <font color='FF0000'>Dirty snowballs</font> hurt more, obviously. And <font color='FF0000'>giant snowballs</font> can attack multiple targets.<BR><BR>One more thing: <font color='FF00FF00'>fireballs</font> cancel harmful effects on your team members and restore their HP. Look for them in boxes. Thank you, <PCNAME>! I'm adding your results to my tally, and soon we'll know whose Old Man Winter is the real Old Man Winter.<BR><BR>And please take this small token of my gratitude.
