Hagand's attempt to activate the Relativity Stone failed, leading him to suggest that disabling the Storm Barrier would be the key to opening the teleportal to Velika.
Paesyn said he needed to talk to you—said it was really important. He was going to come looking for you himself, but I convinced him to let me come with him.<BR><BR>He's waiting in the pasture at the top of this ladder.<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"I'll go talk to him."</NEXTPAGEBUTTON>
<PCNAME>! We found you!<BR><BR>Listen, I need your help! I saw Zolyn looking at a picture of her sister earlier, and they were holding springlike flowers. And a little while ago, I saw a baraka with some of those very same flowers!<BR><BR>I want to give them to Zolyn, as an apology for whatever I did wrong with that relaxation potion I gave her. The baraka said they grow around here somewhere, but I can't find any! Help me!<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"Are you SURE that's what you want to do?"</NEXTPAGEBUTTON>
Of course! Why not? They'll remind her of her sister—and even if that doesn't make her feel good, it will make her that much more determined to find her again! It's a sure thing!<BR><BR>Did you see any, down in the quarry?<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"No...but I might know someone who knows where to find them."</NEXTPAGEBUTTON>
Oh, thank you, <PCNAME>!<BR><BR>And I promise: Whether this works or not, that's the end of it! I won't try to cheer Zolyn up any more!<BR><BR>...But it'll work. I know it will!<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"Sure, Paesyn. I'll let you know if I find them."</NEXTPAGEBUTTON>
You're the best, <PCNAME>!<BR><BR>While you talk to your contact, I'll keep looking for the flowers around here. Be careful, now!<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"You too."</NEXTPAGEBUTTON>
You!<BR><BR>Stone delivered! Job done!<BR><BR>Business done! Going now!<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"Wait...I need something else."</NEXTPAGEBUTTON>
You pay more then!<BR><BR>What need?<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"Springlike flower. Enough for a bouquet."</NEXTPAGEBUTTON>
Flower?<BR><BR>Like, flower from dirt?<BR><BR>Like, flower baraka grow?<BR><BR>Baraka like that one there, that one there, Hagand there...this trick, right?<BR><BR><NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"Hagand's here? Never mind—I'll ask him."</NEXTPAGEBUTTON>
Greetings, friend <PCNAME>. I hope my invisibility potion served you well.<BR><BR>Did I overhear you discussing flowers with this goblin smuggler? I keep a considerable number of local flowers on hand for my alchemy. I most likely have what you need, and you are more than welcome to them.<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"Thank you."</NEXTPAGEBUTTON>
My pleasure. But I actually came to speak to you about the Relativity Stones.<BR><BR>Knowing that Garm has failed multiple times to recharge the Relativity Stone, I kept one, to experiment with under the same conditions as our ancestors did when they first created the teleportal.<BR><BR>And I failed—but unlike Garm, I was easily able to discern why I failed, and why Garm has failed, as well.<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"Okay...what did you find out?"</NEXTPAGEBUTTON>
The only variable is the Storm Barrier. We think of it as a physical barrier, but it is clearly magical as well. That is why the teleportal does not function.<BR><BR>If the Storm Barrier can be disabled somehow, the teleportal will function again. And I believe that since the archdevas are able to pass through it, they must know a way to disable it.<NEXTPAGEBUTTON>"Seems logical. How can I help?"</NEXTPAGEBUTTON>
